Newsletter
You may subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your e-mail address and your consent to receive the newsletter.
As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration. The data processing is therefore based on § 96 para 3 TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) of the GDPR.
You can cancel the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to peter@dialect.academy or use the corresponding link at the end of the newsletter. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.
The newsletter is sent by "Brevo" (ex Sendinblue), a service of Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany. Brevo processes your contact information (such as e-mail address and telephone number), personal information (such as first and last name, date of birth, gender), the date of your registration and the IP address used. Brevo uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletter on our behalf.

Appointment scheduling with Google Calendar
We use the Google Calendar service provided by Google Ireland Limited, located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, which, through the Appointment scheduling feature, allows for simple scheduling and management of appointments directly in our calendar.
Google processes the data you enter on the booking page (name, email address, and optionally information about the consultation topic) for the purpose of scheduling a consultation appointment. This information is shared with us.
Additionally, Google processes access logs (as described under "Server Logs"), uses cookies, and employs Google Analytics to statistically capture the use of your website. The purpose of this data processing is to provide the service (i.e., appointment booking), improve the product, and comply with legal requirements. Data processing is carried out based on Article 6 (1) (b) (contract fulfillment) and Article 6 (1) (f) (legitimate interests) of the GDPR. The legitimate interest in the sense of the GDPR is the simple and effective scheduling of appointments by our customers.
We store the data from an appointment booking until the expiration of the tax retention period (7 years).

Use of Google Meet for Consultations
We use the online video conferencing solution Google Meet for consultation sessions. Google Meet is a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
When communicating via Google Meet, the conversation content (i.e., audio and video) is encrypted in such a way that only the participants can access it. No recordings are made.
However, Google also processes information you provide, such as your name, phone number, or email address, as well as automatically collected data such as your IP address, the MAC address of the device used, the operating system, the client software used, the type of camera, microphone, and speakers, whether audio is transmitted via phone or VoIP, and whether you participate in the conversation with or without video. Additionally, the duration of the conversation, your name in the meeting, and chat content are processed.
Data processing is carried out based on Article 6 (1) (b) (contract fulfillment) and Article 6 (1) (f) (legitimate interests) of the GDPR. The legitimate interest under the GDPR is the simple and efficient conduct of online meetings via the internet.

Google reCaptcha
We use the Google reCaptcha service provided by Google Ireland Limited, located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, to protect our website from spam and abuse.

Learning content using embedded Google Slides
We use Google Slides, which is part of the web-based Google Docs Editors Suite from Google Ireland Limited, located at Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Presentation slides are embedded on our website for the purpose of transferring knowledge and as part of our products. When you view our website and go through the learning content, your browser downloads these presentation slides from Google.
The use of Google Slides does not require you to log in, and no cookies are sent to Google. If you are logged into your Google account while visiting our website, your Google account data is not transmitted to Google. Google only records the use of the corresponding slides and securely stores this data.

Meta Pixel

If you comment a post on this website, your comment, name, email address and IP address will be stored.
Before your comment is published, we check it for legal violations such as insults or racist or inciting statements. The stored data is necessary to be able to take action against such authors if necessary. The data is deleted as soon as the corresponding post is removed from the website.

A member area has been set up on our website, which you can access after purchasing one of our products through the marketing platform Digistore24 (www.digistore24.com).
To restrict access to buyers, we store your email address, name, order details, the date of your last payment, and the password for your access.
These data are necessary for contract fulfillment; without them, we cannot provide all the purchased services. After the termination of your membership, the data will be immediately deleted, as will occur in the event of payment default despite multiple reminders. In both cases, access to the member area will no longer be possible thereafter.

For accounting purposes, we store the following data of our customers: Name, address, telephone number, e-mail address, VAT ID. This data is not passed on to third parties, with the exception of the transmission to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of direct debiting, as well as to our tax advisor for the purpose of bookkeeping and to fulfil our obligations under tax law. The data is stored exclusively within the EU.
The data provided by you is necessary to fulfill a contract or for implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data we cannot conclude and fulfil the contract with you.
All data from a contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the retention period under tax law (7 years).
